    A Truly Magical Journey

My daughter and I read this book together and we just can't stop talking about it. Page is a spunky young girl who meets the even spunkier tooth fairy, Serenfay and her adorable sidekick, Bag. Of course, humans aren't supposed to see, much less have interactions with tooth fairies, and that's where this adventure begins! When Page and her twin brothers follow Serenfay to the magical kingdom of Nearandfar, the book becomes a real page-turner and funny and wild characters abound. This was a truly magical journey of a children's book and if my daughter's reaction is any indicator, it will soon become a VERY popular book. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

    Enchanting!

What an utterly charming and delightful story! I was hooked from the first page by the beautiful prose and the captivating cast of characters. I couldn't wait to find out what would happen next. Woven throughout the story are Gschwandtner's vivid descriptions of nature and its creatures - real and imagined - so lovingly portrayed. It's obvious that she truly loves the natural world, and she has a gift for bringing it to life on the page. I was transported!

This is a middle grade novel, but a fun read for all ages. I am anxiously awaiting the continued adventures of Page Truly in the upcoming sequel.

A delightful choice for young readers: Page is a wonderful heroine!

Page Truly is a great character, showing young female readers that a girl can indeed be a hero too. From the minute Page gets swept up in her journey, the reader will be carried along with her. The story is fast-moving and exciting, with the scenes of adventure and danger counterbalanced with funny, quirky touches. My favorite character is the hilarious "Bag," who doesn't speak but still manages to convey his opinions through gestures. Gschwandtner has a great gift for description and Nearandfar is a complete and beautifully rendered world. An excellent choice for young readers!
