A rehash of yesteryears projects
This is a book for those who are not creative in their own right. None of the projects in this book were new or inventive to me. While they are very nice and all great ideas, they are not something I haven't already through of doing.
Covering a recycled can that vegetables or fruit came in to make a pencil cup is a great idea but not anything that hasn't been done for years. The same goes for picture frames, recipe boxes, shoe boxes or album covers to mention a few of the 50 projects the book has in it.
The instructions are not extremely detailed and leave some things up to your own discretion. The materials needed for the project are listed.
If you need these types of nudges to create, then it would be a good book to purchase. Otherwise, use your own imagination and go wild with all the great papers and embellishments that are on the market today.
