    Another stellar album and effort...

by one of country's formidable voices. This is a collection of story telling songs that is at the root of good country music. Randy is in great voice on every cut. His ability to pull you into the scene of each story selected here, is what makes him and his deliveries so vital. It is hard to choose favorites here. As every selection is an exceptional piece in their own right. But being a fan of ballads ( that Randy is a master at delivering) I have to go with the two self penned orginals. "I'm Your Man" is a simple realistic statement of commitment."I Can See It In Your Eyes" is a gut wrenching portrait of a couple who have shared a lifetime of love, and devotion. But have come to accept(due to the passage of time)the realization that a final departure is inevitable. I think it is one of the finest love songs I have ever heard. Randy just continues to put out stellar material be it gospel or country.

The best from Randy since the 80's!!!

This cd is much much more than I expected. A very well put together collection of songs! One of those cd's where you don't have to skip through the ones you like, you can just listen to them all. That Was Us, and Running Bling are my top favorites!
