Passion or furore?
Jeanette Winterson was dropped on her head when she was born. This book is a result of her disastrous accident at an early age. It's either that or shes terrible at writing fantasy. After reading this appalling, ghastly book of cataclysmically unorthodox misinformed history and unlikely character development, I was astounded to realise she had won numerous awards. By chance it seems she has scathed through the eyes of many critics and grasped her hands around this book. Although I have enjoyed many of her other books, The Passion is one I wish I'd never layed eyes on. A book to most certainly avoid.
