Arlen Specter-Pennsylvania's Senator
"Passion for Truth" is a great read about a senator who has devoted his life to the people of Pennsylvania. Arlen Specter embodies the American dream. The son of Russian immigrants, Mr. Specter worked diligently to achieve his goals. He attended the Univeristy of Pennsylvania and later Yale Law School. This book is more than an autobiography. The author explains why he did not support Judge Robert Bork's Supreme Court nomination and why he voted to confirm Clarence Thomas. Whether one agrees with him or not, Arlen Specter clearly makes concise reasons to his actions. Any person who is truly intersted in politics, regardless of philosophy, will be captivated by this book. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
