    Irish History at It's Best

As an avid history reader I find myself wondering why we haven't heard more about Brian Boru. From Remauro's point of view, it seems he changed the shape of Irish culture. It was a long book but done well enough that it was an easy read once you got all the characters straight. I have to admit that I enjoyed it quite well. It peaked my interest in ancient Irish culture and helped me to see the Vikings in a different light.

    A wonderful read. Compelling-Descriptive

In the style of Phillpa Gregory, Remauro provides the reader with an up close look at ancient Irish culture. I never knew that life in the 10th century could be so fascinating. The fighting is fierce and the sex hot. A good read.
