I loved this book. I had fallen in love with Paul in the other stories. He was a wonderful father who cherished his daughter. My complaint in this book was he was so concerned at never seeing his daughter but then as soon as he met Morian he pretty much forgets about her. His only concern is Morian and while he says he has come to love all her son's as his own they go off for 3 months and when they come back are ready to get the visits over with so they can be alone. It totally went against the character that had been created earlier. I am all for his having found his mate but he wouldn't have just brushed his daughter like that in reality.

    Once again a great book!!

This is the 6th in the series about the Marion, the mom of the Dragon Lords, and Paul father to Trisha, and her friends Carmen an Ariel. I was glad that these two got a story, they are pretty cool and tough parents that would do anything for their kids. They both had lost loves that had pasted away when they were younger. Even though they deeply loved their spouse, they both felt like their was always an emptiness inside that their spouse just could not quite fill.

They finally found their missing piece of the other, but it comes at a terrible time.... It is a 224 nook pages, but the story does not seem short at all.

Read the series, you won't be disappointed!! It also is a lot more enjoyable to read them in order to get the full effect. Ms. Smith does not repeat every detail into each book, which was great too.
