I have now read this entire trilogy. The first book was awesome....and this one was better. Easy to read, you didnt want to put it down. I was so engaged with the story at the end of the first book i had to immediately get the next two. In less than a week i was done with them. What a great author, and what a great writing style. Cant wait to read more from him.

Worth reading

Interesting post-apocalyptic America. Different causes, effects and a very different ending.

    Nothing original beyond the premise

I wanted to like this book, but the originality of the basic premise could not overcome the stilted cliches of the plot, characters, and action scenes. There is really nothing new here; when I had finished reading I felt "meh". I learned nothing new, was not emotionally moved or inspired, did not have my preconceptions challenged, the most I got from this book was a couple of chuckles. I applaud the author's effort, but will not continue this series.

    It was a free book

And i,m glad i didnt pay for it . The whole book had a rushed feel to it and it is like a spinoff of the movie battle field earth.

    Not sure

Not sure how I like this book. Its slow to get started and not really holding my attention. I'll be deleting this book. I'm glad it was free.
