Jeff Kashiwa's solo albums would MN8 the same amount of NRG as his former band "The Rippingtons", if only he'd put much more force behind his playing and song writing. Instead this albums falls into the muzac category, which is unfortunate for a highly talented sax man. He expressed more NRG on Rippington albums than here on "Peace Of Mind". The really good tracks are the lite and funky "Stay With Me" and the seductive "Falling". If only he had several more track like the two above, with more force and upbeat tempos behind him, this album would be so much better. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
