Poor quality envelopes
These cards looked beautiful in the box at the store, so we purchased two boxes of them for our Christmas cards this year. We were disappointed with the quality of the envelopes: Many of them did not have any glue to moisten in order to seal the envelopes and some were not glued on the sides of the envelopes and couldn't hold the cards in them. We ended up having to glue the sides on many of them and gluing the sealing flap down on about half of the envelopes in both boxes we purchased. I also thought that these cards would have been more elegant (and less messy) if they didn't have the sparkles on them, but that seems to be the manufacturer's choice in many of their cards. (After Christmas, we looked at others we liked by the same manufacturer, too, but were not enthralled with how messy the sparkles were on all of them. We decided against buying any from the manufacturer again, mainly due to the hassle of having to pretty much create our own envelopes by gluing so many to complete them or to seal them for mailing in addition to the sparkle issue.)

These were something . . . not something else, but something
Cards were easily readible even by the large part of the U.S. population that is rapidly becoming border6line-literate. The black and white cards also lend themselves to coloring by crayon
