    This Book Has a Hook

Have you ever picked up a book and been unable to put it down? This book belongs, front and center, in that category. Richard Lynch has written a fast-paced, intriguing narrative with unique, well-developed characters that evolve along with the story. The plot moves swiftly, always compelling the reader to turn the page and get on with it. If you like science fiction and adventure, you will love this book. As an avid reader of books on flying, submarines, science fiction, and adventure for over 40 years, I heartily recommend this book. I am really looking forward to the next offering from Mr. Lynch.

Superior Effort For A First Novel!

This novel represents an innovative and refreshing union of the science-fiction, and action/adventure genres. It is constructed around an intriguing storyline which carries the reader along at a pleasantly brisk, but not exhausting pace. The characters are well developed, as are the place descriptions, and the action scenes. I would be very surprised to find anyone who could not identify with at least one of the major characters. The various places in which the story unfolds are described in impeccable detail. The action scenes are fast paced, and adrenaline-pumping. The author also does an excellent job of capturing and holding the reader¿s attention. He reveals just enough information at each stage of the plot to compel the reader to continue. Yet at no time, does he ¿give away¿ the ending. Equally significant, is the fact that this is the author¿s first published novel. That is another reason why I like it. In addition to the quality of the narrative, it also demonstrates vision and daring. And, let¿s face it folks, we need some new voices out there. As an avid reader of novels which incorporate elements of science-fiction with an equal amount of action and adventure, I would whole-heartedly recommend Pendulum. And keep your eye on Richard T. Lynch. The Force is with him!
