Really Gruesome, Perfectly Evil, Very Cool!
Brady Karlin decided to get on with his life. His girlfriend was killed in a really ugly sledding accident the year before. Now he's got a new girlfriend named Rosha Nelson. Every time he's with her, something bad happens to him. Something bad happens to his best friend and Brady wants answers! So he meets Rosha somewhere and he's in for a surprise!

Dear R.L. Stine,

This book was creepy but interesting, like most of your books. I was noticing that every time Brady was with Rosha something horrible happened! Then there's this really weird girl following him. When Rosha asked him to met her there was a suprising twist! I recomend this book to people who like books that are creepy yet interesting! I love R.L. Stine's books!
Sincerely,
Ashlee -

Strategic Readings

Final assignment
The book that I am reviewing is the perfect date by R.L Stine from the fear street series. The author wrote this book to show how bad grief is and how you should believe things your eyes see. The author is intending to draw in the teens to this series. The author choose this age group because of the vocabulary and context in the books. This book is written in 3rd person limited omitted view. The 3rd person but I don't know the name of the person who is telling the story. It's important that this 3rd person is telling this story to get all the characters view of what happens.
The author made it so it was in a tragedy and then scary in a way. I don't believe it is, but it could be. Yes, because the main characters girlfriend dies and she ends up coming back as a real person. I don't see people who died walking around telling me to beware of someone or something. I could connect with Rosha, because I am clumsy and I have a lot of things that happen to me in my life.
I believe that the author has a success at his goals in this book. Yes I did learn what the author wanted me to learn in this reading. An example would be the car crash that the main character gets into and the police ask the main character if he is all right after the crash. This book would be compared to the book called the secret bedroom by the same author R.L Stine. In the secret bedroom this girl moves to this new house on Fear Street ave. the house has an upstairs bedroom and the bedroom has someone in the room, but she is dead and living. You don't expect something bad to happen and the "Hooking up can be murder." I would recommend this book to any teens who love horror and scary books, maybe a little mystery.
I love the book so much that I have read it maybe over five times. Yes this book keeps your reading and thinking about what is going to happened. I did agree with this message that the author is trying to get across. I was surprised about this ending; it's something that you wouldn't want to put it down the closer you get to the ending. I would rate this book a 5. I would give this book a 5 because I loved it and it was so easy to read. I would think the book is something that a teen would love to read. -

A reviewer
The book I¿ve read is The Perfect Date, Brady Karlin has fallen in love with Rosha but he has a girlfriend. The book is about how Brady has been spending time with Rosha and every time he is with her horrible stuff appeal to happen. This book reminds me of a movie I¿ve seen called The Hills Have Eyes II. In that movie horrible things happen a lot like in the book. I thought this book was the prime book I¿ve ever read.

Perfect....Perfectly Pathetic
This book was just plain horrible. Not only was the beginning and middle completly predictible, but the ending was just sad. I was actually laughing through the entire thing.
