    An adventurous classic

The first documenting of the Flying Dutchman, The Phantom Ship tells the amazing story of a man cursed by his father's dying words and his beautiful wife's fight to keep her religious beliefs while she waits for his return. Though the language can take some getting used to, the story had me hooked by the end of the first chapter. This book is a love story, a ghost story, and an adventurous sea story, with plot twists that include a werewolf and the Spanish Inquisition. I highly recommend it!
