Expected a lot- and Got it.

I have read everything by tezuka that's available in English. His Early work appeals more to younger readers. For Adults, The Buddha and Adolf Series are terrific but the Phoenix Saga is unbelievably, consistently outstanding. This latest installment, volume 7, is no exception. I wouldn't have thought it possible, but Tezuka's artwork seems to be even more beautiful than in previous volumes. Thankfully, he produced so much work over the course of his life. Now, the English-speaking world can enjoy it and, for Tezuka fans, each new release might as well be brand new. Volume 8 (part two of the storyline that begins in Volume 7) can't come out soon enough for me. Waiting for each new Tezuka book to come out, I feel like a little kid, counting off the days until Christmas. There is another work due to come out this year besides Phoenix, Volume 8. The title slips my mind at the moment, but it will be by far the largest single-volume work by Tezuka to be published in English. I can't wait!
