Science has no dogma?
I am surprised that a previous reviewer says that a difference between religion and science is that 'science has no dogma.' Scientists of previous centuries and the uninformed modern populace may indeed think so, but many scientists today willingly acknowledge that science is tentative and the conclusions are often, not just influenced, but determined by the presuppositions of the scientist. Jones attempts to remind his readers about this. The previous reviewer may disagree with this accessment of science, but he has not interacted with Jones' point, but simply reasserted the contrary. Jones does give reasons for saying that we should not make science into an idol, and be self-deceived into thinking that it is the answer to everything. Those who disagree should give reasons for doing so, instead of just saying it cannot be so.
