    Forbidden desire

Angel-at-Law I: Earthbound Angels 2 is another tantalizing tale of forbidden desire from the prolific Sandra Ross. For criminal
defense attorney Simon Draco, protection and vindication of the innocent has become the cornerstone of his profession – a
reputation he has steadily earned through years of dogged defense of the falsely accused under-dog. Simon’s defense of the
persecuted is more than just a calling, it is his primary mission, a task he has been specifically chosen for because of the unique
gifts granted to him and others of his kind. Simon, is a fallen angel… a well-liked comrade amongst the Earthbound who even
amongst the angels is especially well liked and respected. For centuries Simon has studied humanity, finding personal redemption
in the unwavering perseverance humans approach their lives with, finally reaching a contentment with his new found world. But
things are about to become complicated for the confident Earthbound Angel as he draws the attention of the brilliant but cold and
calculating, Raven while trying to control his growing desire for the Raven’s captivating sister, Dreama. As Simon learns to grapple
with the distractingly subtle sensuality of Dreama, he must also stand between his new client, a man falsely accused of the brutal rape
and attempted murder of his ex-girlfriend, and a legal system that has already determined his guilt.

Sandra Ross brings us the start of what promises to be a very engaging story filled with legal intrigue and tension to compliment the
growing passion of the well-crafted central characters. It won’t be long before Simon’s careful manipulation of the legal system to
protect the innocent, and his undeniable attraction to Dreama create an engaging world that will be virtually impossible to leave.
Throw in the barely restrained wrath of a highly protective angel and his weakness for the young and mischievous, Dreama, and
Angel-at-Law I: Earthbound Angels 2 could very well join the ranks of supernatural love stories that come to define romance for a
    generation.

As with her other stories, Sandra Ross writes in a relaxed and easy to read style that doesn’t detract from the way she seamlessly
crafts relatable, likable characters. From the sympathy we feel for the falsely accused Andrew, to the humour and wit of an endearing
Dreama, and moral dilemmas of the conflicted angel trying to do his best for humanity, the world Ross creates will be hard to leave
behind as we read the last few words. Sandra Ross is quickly creating a unique voice in the supernatural romance genre that
hopefully will create a series of adventures that lifts the heart as much as it challenges the brain.

Angel-at-Law I: Earthbound Angels 2 is a quick and easy read that will leave you wanting more from a writer with great potential.
