    Please! Check it out.

This book is so well done: The writing is relatively brief and to the point. The photography is lovely and the explanations excellent. I highly recommend this book as one to be kept through the years.

Amazing Read, from the photos to the writing

This book was so easy-to-read, enjoyable and full of interesting information for anyone who strives to remember those killed on 9/11. It's a wonderful tribute to the 9/11 Memorial, and serves as a fantastic guide from start to finish.

Layout makes this a questionable purchase

The link between past and present is, of course, dramatic, respectful, and inspiring - just look at the cover to understand the impact of the photography showcased in this book. HOWEVER, I must assume that the layout design was done by a young artist with perfect vision because the result is most difficult for anyone with aging eyes. For dramatic effect the captions of the photos inside are set off from the text in blocks of grey lettering. The reader - at least this one - finds it necessary to use a magnifying glass to read. This is not the way a book should be done. Surely each publishing company needs to have someone in the final process who asks if the book being published is readable - after all, that is what it is all about.
