Be Careful, New-Agers...
I rate this book as '2 stars,' aka 'disappointing' because of a major flaw I found in the information in the book. Understand that I count myself in the crowd of the 'new consciousness' people, but that I am very disappointed with the quality of work that has circulated this field for the past 15 years. I too hope for a second Earth of sorts, a place where those of us of like-mind will one day find ourselves. But shamelessly encouraging purchases of earlier books (referred to as 'back-end' sales, to help generate more revenue), while presenting a serious flaw in the math on a crucial point made pertaining to the amount of gun-related deaths on this 'Earth Two' was a mistake that cannot be ignored, and seriously puts into question the legitimacy of this book...the numbers of deaths on Earth Two, while lower by our current standards of life here, are astronomically horrible in comparison to the supposed population of Earth Two. This is a gross error, and makes one wonder why the author has no longer made herself available to the public. In fairness, perhaps the information truly is channeled and the error was not intended on her part. We all need to learn to be our own authorities, regardless of whether information is channelled or not. Authors that I enjoy that I feel present an accurate portrayal of self-growth include Whitley Strieber and Carlos Castaneda. They don't claim to have answers, they simply speak about their path and the amazing things they've encountered as a result of that persuit.
