    This is book 1 in the Red Velvet Rope series. The books are about Seth, Joshua and Aaron, book 1 is Seth's story a fine looking Asian. I love the cover, it's an interracial romance A/B. Story contains graphic and sexual act and BDSM.


    Katherine is the take charge owner of Las Vegas casino Taboo. everyone who has worked for her knows she is a stern boss, which she needs to be, in order to be taken seriously. She has always fantasize about her bodyguard Seth, dominating her. Seth is Katherine's bodyguard/ head of security / assistant and he has wanted her since he has started working for her 2 years ago, he's also a Dom. Everyone seem to always be afraid of Katherine, expect Seth, this always leads to the clashing of both Seth and Katherine. Seth, soon begins to realize that Katherine is attracted to him and the only way to keep her attraction under controlled is to build a wall up towards Seth. While figuring out their relationship, someone has been sending death threats against Katherine.

    This was an enjoyable read for me. Katherine and Seth were sexy together once those walls came down and she submit to him. Even though Katherine is a very strong will woman and boss, it's was nice seeing her submissive side come out. We also got to meet everyone who will be in book 2 and 3, Aaron and Joshua. I'm really eager to read Aaron and Michelle's story. If your into the Dom/Sub read then this is a nice light book for you to read. I also enjoyed their intimate moments.
