hotter version of the Grant-Rogers film Monkey Business

Lab partners Laura Manning and Jay Cutler are concerned that their funding might be cut especially if their grant request is rejected. Jay says he will serve as the guinea pig to see if their serum will suppress male libidos as their work must remain top secret so no one else would do. Laura says if this works on ¿Little Jay¿ it would on everyone as he has a different woman seemingly every weekend. He insists that she be his accompaniment this time to insure he is okay and to keep their work out of the hands of corporate spies. --- As they spend the weekend together, Little Jay seems to prove their elixir fails as it has a mind of its own when it comes to Laura. She begins to believe her dreams of loving him forever may come true while he wonders if perhaps he is not the cold-hearted SOB that his mom insisted he is as he now knows his feelings that he hid from with a plethora of females mean love. However both have doubts as this is a chemical experiment. --- PLEASURE CONTROL feels like a modern day but much hotter version of the Grant-Rogers film Monkey Business. The lead couple is a delightful pairing of two scientists with doubts about relationships outside the Bunsen burner world. The story line hooks the audience from the start and keeps readers throughout in a one sitting pleasurable read. --- Harriet Klausner

    Just Okay

Pleasure Control is book one of Cathryn Fox's Pleasure Game series. Laura Manning is a scientist working on discovering a potion to inhibit a man's libido. For a long time she has had a crush on her lab partner Jay Cutler. With a deadline for the potion hanging over them, Jay suggests Laura try the potion on him and then seduce him to see if it works. Against her better judgment Laura goes along with the plan.

Pleasure Control was an okay read for me. This book kind of gets the kiss of death I guess since there is not a lot that sets it apart from other books, nor is there anything that really stands out in my mind about it. It was neither good nor bad but somewhere in between. The characters, the plot and the execution were all just mediocre. What else can I say?

The good things Pleasure Control has going for it are that is it short and sweet. There is not a lot of conflict. It's a relatively fast read at only 228 pages. Unfortunately, I can't really recommend it, unless there is not much else to read, or you want something short.

    Really good book

I didn't want to put it down, and I also enjoyed the two other books in the series Pleasure Prolong and Pleasure Exchange. Cathryn Fox is a very talented author.

    Fantastic!

Cathryn Fox will take you on a great adventure! This is the first of three, each story gets you more invested and you find yourself rooting for them to find happiness and love! I loved it and so will you.

    I Also Recommend:

    The pleasure is all mine!

A really great book with a really good concept--not something you find in erotica much these days...Anyway, I just have to say that while I did like the storyline, I loved the sexy scenes. Highly erotic and realistic without being over the top. A must read.

    FANTASTIC!

This was a great book. I am not much of a reader, but the story line kept me interested with the mystery and love relationship. Was a fantastic read.
