    Unreal

Well written but unbelievable. I enjoy series with new and repeating characters and am very disappointed in the turn this series is taking. One must suspend belief in reality and basic good investigative practices to make this serier a success. Perhaps it is for a much younger and very gullible reader. Such a shame for a talented author. What happened in the end?

I loved the book, but the end was so fast and did not answer some of the main questions in the book. What happened to Christie? No one arrested for killing Helen? It just seems as if the ending was without the punch it should have had. It left a feeling of 'incomplete.' If it is meant to be answered in a sequel, shouldn't it have been mentioned somewhere?

So, how does it really end?

I liked this one until the last few chapters. I expected a resolution to the case of the sheriff's missing wife. This ending certainly lacked a conclusion!

    disappointed reader

I usually love her books but I'm still wanting for the ending. Is there going to be a follow up book??? The last 30 pages were rushed and completely disappointing, too many unanswered questions.

    Not A Very Inspiring Write

Did Catherine Coulter really write this book? I have read all of her contemparary novels and this one does not hold up to them. Too unbelievable at times and lots of loose threads. So many things unresolved at the end that I was truly disappointed with this work. I know you can do better, Catherine!!

    not one of her best

I have read and enjoyed many of Coulter's books, but unfortunately, this new book was not one of her best. The whole 'treasure hunt' scenerio was weak and out of place for an FBI story, and trying to combine the Moses Grace plot with the Maestro city plot, just never really seemed to happen. It was like Coulter had too many plots going on that she never did merge, and her main characters in this novel never really come alive. The only 2 characters that come close are Rob and Rafe. The fact that the character 'Ruth' cannot remember anything about herself for like, 2 days, and then all the sudden within a time span of 3 seconds, remembers exactly who she is 'Oh, goodness, I remember everything now' just wasn't believable. It is unfortunate, but Coulter has done better. However, I still look forward to her next book, but maybe she should stick to her mainstream romance novels, those are great!
