Poker: The Real Deal

Great for beginners.

This is an easy read and is a good book for beginning players to use. Phil Gordon is one of the most successful players in the world and he knows what he is talking about. Be advised though that Gordon became a millionaire(he's probably worth more than any other pro player alive at about 32 million dollars) through his internet business in the late 1990's, and then devoted his time to becoming a true champion. But he is certainly a reliable voice and some of his advice can be really worthwhile, especially the stuff about table etiquette.

Too good to be true - It improved my game for real.

Excellent start book. Gives great insight in to the woold of poker. Read through it all the way then go back and read it again. My Winnings went up a solid 200 percent the first time through. It's simple, practical and entertaining.

Only book you'll need

Phil Gordon did a great job covering all the bases. Explained it in a way that I could understand and relate to. Highly recommend this book to anyone who is serious about playing Hold'em or Poker in general.
