Icky not Romantic
This was not a premise I could ever endorse. I should have read a few pages before purchase. Iam a big Balogh fan and was very disappointed. Not all of an author's past books are worthy of re-publishing as this book proves.

A very Different kind of Romance
I actually really liked this book and the fact that it was not your typical romance. This time the lady doesnt escape ruin and has to turn to prostitution to survive. And the hero is not huge, strong, sexually experienced and confident. He is shy, average, insecure and inexperienced. The story proves that even us lesser mortals deserve love too!

Great Book
I wasn't so interested in beginning this one but when I did I totally loved it. I really love the characters. I loved that Balogh did not leave out there story because it is worth reading. I enjoyed reading the ending the most because I felt that it was so different from the typical endings. It was hilarious in the end. This book was also really emotionally moving. It keeps you wondering what will be their end. This was a really good book. Interesting and fresh.

The non Alpha male...
I can understand why Ms. Baloch would want to write about a non dashing male lead and a average everyday love story... The style and surprize level is very typical for a Baloch tale. Her story also works well around the faberic of the two stories she took this male lead from to create a secondary tale. This story could have been a sub plot to the more dashing Alpha heros, yet the story was touching.

Typical Balogh
It is not her best, but it is still worth a read.

Not quite as precious as I had hoped!
Other books written by Mary Balogh have been far more interesting. The characters in this one were a little "wooden" it was not believable and I found it hard going.
