This book is well done. It is very graphic, but the nature of the crimes were very graphic. The reader should be aware that there are graphic pictures of murder victims in this book.
Predator was very engaging, and I found myself not wanting to put it down. For those who lived in the areas where these crimes were committed, this book will be a vivid reminder of how vulnerable people can be and the need to be responsible for your own safety.

I am normally not a fan of true-crime books because of the "just the facts" style that publishers demand from their authors, but Predator was obviously meticulously researched and well written, especially since there were so many victims involved throughout a lengthy period of time and in so many different locations. The author provides his readers with often brutal accounts of each crime committed by Timothy Krajcir and still maintains a sense of empathy for the victims as well as their surviving friends and family members. The photos that are included are more than sufficient for highlighting the brutality of this serial killer without becoming offensive to those who may have known the victims. This is a well-documented case that has received a lot of national coverage from the media and Walker has done a great job of delivering the story while including many perspectives of everyone who was affected by this killer's violence. Was this review helpful?
