Cassie Mercer has just been voted the 'Most Trusted Woman,' quite an accomplishment for a journalist. Bill MacAllister is the President of the United States, and a recent widower. He's also a down-to-earth, sexy Texan who enjoys ordinary pleasures, like beer straight from the bottle and meatloaf, especially when it's cooked by Cassie. This is a delightful romance with obviously well researched facts about the White House, its staff, and its journalists. As a bonus, these protagonists aren't youngsters, but are in their 40s and 50s, which is very refreshing. Anyone who enjoys West Wing will enjoy Presidential Liaison. Was this review helpful?
