Another home run for Lisa Olsen...

Lisa Olsen does not disappoint with her newest book. Pretty Witches All in A Row is a great read. I loved the interaction between the main character Detective Nick Gibson and his teenage daughter Veronica. He's the kind of dad every girl hopes for.
This book goes right along with the authors love of the supernatural, while staying grounded in the real world. The mystery, the romance, the suspense, all great reasons to read this book.
I can't wait to read the next book by this amazing writer.

    When is the sequel?

Another great book... I loved the blend of the murder investigation with the bits of witchcraft. As usual the author's characterizations were great, and I laughed a couple times at the interactions between the lead detective Sergeant Gibson and his teen daughter, she stole the show in the scenes she was in. The supernatural aspects of the book were subtle but definitely present, and certainly kept things interesting. I'm hoping for a sequel!

Loved it! The suspense kept me guessing who would be the next victim . . . and just who the real villain could be?

Lisa Olsen has a gift with words. She paints a picture with each of her characters so vividly that you are sure they are one of your co-workers, a relative, or perhaps a close quirky friend. Pretty Witches began quickly, and never slowed down. Should he trust her? Do I trust her? I love the chemistry between Nick and Annaliese as they weave their way through the investigative process. Where will the relationships between sisters, covens, rituals, voo-doo dolls and divination lead them? This has all the elements of a suspenseful murder mystery that could explode at any moment! The characters came alive for me as I loved to hate some of them, while actively wondering if there was something lurking behind the screen of illusion of others. An enjoyable read that you'll appreciate just as much the second time you read it!

    Absolutely amazing!

Once again the author delivers a great book. The storyline and characters were truly unique and the romance was sweet while still being subtle enough to not steal the show. I liked how you question whether or not there is real magic involved right up until near the end, and the story kept you guessing constantly. I really loved the contrast between magic and logic, and how it shows extremes of certain believers (Such as the police who only think logically). Great book, can't wait for the next one!
