    Smokin'Hot Gargoyle Love!

Cale lost his mate decades ago, he watched her die in battle, unable to get to her in time. He will mourn her loss for eternity. Sorcha is a human turned lethal huntress in exchange for immortality. To keep her mind on her job, her memories are wiped clean every one hundred years. She is assigned to slay an immortal rogue gargoyle who has stolen a prized and sought after ancient artifact. Sorcha finds her prey and prepares to end his immortal life, but something stirs within her. Cale is stunned to find his mate alive, and trying to kill him, but she has no memory of their life together, still, there is a carnal pull that cannot be denied. Will Sorcha be able to kill this handsome gargoyle who she can’t seem to resist? Can Cale prove to Sorcha he is her mate?
Primal Attraction by Sydney Somers, the lady with the scorching hot pen is hot! The tension between the two main characters is off the charts, whether they are arguing, bantering, or giving in to their carnal attractions, the moments of quiet are few and far between in this fast-paced tale. Sorcha is strong, but something is missing in her life, is it Cale? Is this why she is so prickly about everything? Cale is often over-bearing, is it a part of his alpha nature? These two are like the clash of the Titans both out of bed and between the sheets. Their personalities didn’t seem to fit the lost love theme. Of course, Rhiannon may have something to do with that.
I do wish there were more story, there is a lot to cover, so much untold, but the chemistry between these two characters seems to take up a large amount of the story. Is it because they have history, a familiarity from their past? A wonderful and solid addition to the Pendragon Gargoyle series, just not my favorite.

Perfect book for a rainy day, sick in bed, the beach, etc.!

This is my first time reading a book from this author and I just have one complaint. The book was too damn short! I became addicted to her feisty characters. The characters stay busy by trying to "one up" each other which makes for an amusing read. The love sessions are quite steamy so if you are a prude, you won't like this book. I on the other hand, have ordered all the gargoyle books because they're fun and I love the plots - although too short. I like this Sydney Somers and plan to check out her other series. Kudos to the author!
