an interesting erotic romantic fantasy
Empath Drake Wheeler survives by hiding his feelings from the world. However, he worries about teenage Nadya¿s lack of ability to control her shapeshifting skills.
He has new hopes when he meets purebred shapeshifter Melissa Montrose in her town although she hides her legacy from her neighbors. He wants her to mentor Nadya. However, although attracted to the enigmatic outsider, she does not trust him ever since a hunter murdered her friend for she fears he is the rogue killer. To his shock, the empathic cannot hide his feelings for Melissa and fears for her safety. They need to rely on one another if they are to prevent a killer from murdering again.
The sequel to SEXY DEVIL is an interesting erotic romantic fantasy that lacks the typical non stop action psychic thrillers expected of a Sasha White thriller. Still Drake and Melissa is an interesting match up as she thinks he is a rogue hunter of shapeshifters while the return of the psychic Devlin siblings and their respective soul mates (from SEXY DEVIL) enhance the tale. Although at times too flaccid (except for that male body part), Ms. White¿s fans will overall enjoy Drake¿s efforts to persuade Melissa that he is not the menace and they belong together fueled by love in order to stop a psychopath predator from killing again.

After all she needs companship as much as the next person. But while she is with Drake at his hotel her best friend is killed in her bookstore and Melissa is completely distraught. Once Drake realizes that she is the woman he has been searching for the need to shadow her and find out what happened to her friend is overwhelming. He is convinced that the event has something to do with Melissa's special gift. Together they fordge a bond and work together to learn all they can. I absolutely loved this book.

Excellent paranormal romance
When empath Drake Wheeler goes in search of some down time while looking for a powerful shape shifter, he finds himself in a bookstore in the small town of Chadwick. He quickly decides to mix business with a little pleasure after meeting the store¿s owner, Melissa Montrose. Melissa is breathtakingly beautiful and he is instantly attracted, but it doesn¿t take long for him to realize there¿s much more to Melissa than meets the eye. Melissa is very much alone in the world, except for one close, dear friend. When brutal violence gets a little too close to Melissa for Drake¿s comfort, he insists that she stay with him. It soon becomes clear that in sticking close to Melissa, Drake is nearer to the elusive shape shifter than he could ever have dreamed.

Despite sharing an undeniably sensual pull towards Drake, Melissa is highly suspicious of him and his motives. The covert group he belongs to has sent him to Chadwick to do some investigational searching for the shape shifting Sharza, although they don¿t truly know just who, or what, Sharza is. A young shape shifter who has joined this specially gifted group needs knowledge and guidance to make full, positive use of her powers, and they¿re determined to find someone who can assist as her instructor. Melissa has been fiercely independent for a large portion of her life, and she isn¿t quick to trust. While she has fallen for Drake and she knows full well that he cares deeply for her, he won¿t fully open himself up to her, which she finds more than a little frustrating.
Sasha White has yet again proven why she¿s the undisputed queen of erotic romance. Drake is not your typical tortured hero, and Melissa has had more than her fair share of heartache. They complete each other just by being together, let alone when passions flair. Watching Drake¿s fall into love is especially nice, and readers will be cheering Melissa as she attempts to bring his true feelings to light. I can¿t help but give PRIMAL MALE the highest marks. -

Primal Male - Awesome!
Ms. White has intrigued the reader by delving into a paranormal world filled with adventure and romance. More interesting is the irony of Drake's ability to tune in to everyone emotions around him, while having some difficulty coping with his own. The verbal wizardry of Ms. White quickly delved into this empath's multi-dimensional personality so that the reader could understand the depth of his anger and frustration, lust and desire that was almost hard to manage. Melissa depicts a clever and emotionally strong woman that not only knows what she wants, but what she needs to remain hidden from everyone else; it's interesting to see the two as they interact. The reader also gets an unexpected treat from the other characters in the book to round things out. Unfortunately, there are some commitment issues in the book, making it even that much more enjoyable to read. This is a story that explores some pain and suffering, making it much more real. You need to know what happens in the end and if it can work. Sasha White isn't afraid to explore the unusual then pull you in, so that you're wrapped around her fingers. Also, readers will be pleasantly surprised at the bonus at the conclusion of the story. I truly adored it! Bravo, Ms. White for another excellent tale of love.
