    Highly Recommended

This book may just be the best of this series. Sirene is the kick ass heroine we wanted to be when we were girls, and Slide is a great big teddy bear of a shape shifter - even if he is a dragon. They both have heart-wrenchingly good reasons for their lifestyles, and watching them choose to step outside their boundaries in total trust of another is both hot and satisfying. Did I say hot? Whew!

Prince of Dragons makes you want to live in books.

Slyde Stone is a one woman man and he won’t settle for less. He is a dragon-shifter and has to stay undercover so that he can find his mate and have her fall for him and not his status. So he must stay a virgin until he finds his mate. That is just the way of the dragons.

Sirena Blaze is good at her job. She also has abandonment issues. She has sex with men and leaves them before they can leave her. She’s on the prowl for another man when she meets Slyde. It doesn’t seem that he wants her so she finds another male.

You can just feel the sparks that are coming off of Slyde and Sirena. They both want each other for different reasons. Sirena just wants to have sex with Slyde. Slyde wants Sirena as his mate and knows that she isn’t ready. This is the first story that I’ve read that the woman really just goes and has sex with men when she wants just one.

This story has everything that you want in a book. You have sex, fighting, and people trying to kill you. You never know what is going to happen next. So you are kept on the edge of your seat. It is just so exciting. The story just had a great plot.

You would think that you were on a love boat instead of a ship that had passengers and cargo. You also get to meet the other characters from the other two books and see what is going on with them. I enjoyed the suspense of the two killer snakes and everyone trying to find them before they killed who they were sent to kill.

You also wonder if Slyde will be able to stay a virgin until he mates with Sirena or will he give in to his hunger if it gets to be too much. Who will win the bargain? I can’t wait to read the next one and see what happens. I wonder what it will be about and will they finally catch the person who is out to sabotage the sh the ship?

I recommend this book to anyone who loves a great adventure and loves a lot of sex. So happy reading and enjoy.

I really enjoy Cathryn Cades' space fantasy's and this one is no exception.  The culture clash of different beings makes for a great story.  The sexual tension between Slyde and Sirena is top notch and when they finally get together it is downright combustible. Note: there is some squick factor in the prologue and epilogue but nothing you can't get past if you remind yourself they are aliens.

    OH SO HOT!!!

The Orion seems to be cursed. After episodes of sabotage on the first two voyages, steps are taken to ensure that the third trip goes without incident. Any trouble could ruin Lodestar, the line that owns and operates the premier ship in the galaxy.

After two sabotage attempts, Commander Sirena Blaze decides to call in back up, and that means recruiting a member of the elite Serpentian guard as co-commander. One look at her co-commander, Slyde Stone, and she decides that she is really going to enjoy serving with him, in more ways that on duty. What she doesn't know is that Slyde is a member of a race thought to be only myth, a race whose males mate only once and for life.

Can the half-dragon shifter win the heart of his co-commander, or will he be destined to be alone for life? Can Sirena get over her fear of being left behind by someone she loves, and accept what Slyde offers? Can these two find a way to overcome their differences and be together, and save the ship and crew as well?

I loved Sirena, with her brash attitudes and take no prisoners love life. There is such a wonderful role reversal, with Sirena the voracious lover, and Slyde the untouched virgin. I enjoyed the battle of wills between these two strong characters, Sirena determined to bed Slyde, and him just as determined to be her final lover for life.

I also loved that in spite of the heat between them, they could set it aside enough to find the danger threatening the ship, and protect almost everyone from the insidious evil tracking them.

Do they solve the mystery of who is behind it all? More important, do Sirena and Slyde get the happy ever after they deserve? You will just have to read Prince of Dragons to find out.
