Prince Of Secrets by Lucy Monroe pens another moving love story.

Prince Demyan Zaretsky will do whatever is necessary to protect his country and the family that helped to raise him. To save his countries economic future he must get Chanel Tanner to fall in love and marry him. Easier said then done.

Chanel Tanner lives fully in her world of her lab. The outside world has always felt alien to her and she is happier in her lab. Chanel is floored when a handsome man visits her lab with the promise of helping her find much needed funding. And a Prince to boot.

Chanel quickly falls under Demyan’s spell, no one has ever made her feel the way he does. Their relationship is hot and quickly involves to the road to the altar. But will she stay with the Prince once she learns he wasn’t truthful from the start?

Prince Of Secrets is another well writing story of an unconventional love. What started out as a mission turns into a love that neither has seen coming. Demyan had never felt the love that he finds with Chanel and will do everything to keep this wonderful woman by his side.

Lucy Monroe books are a treasure for any romance reader.

He got off to easy

Although it was a good story, it didn't meet my expectation of a romance from Lucy Monroe. I wish she had choosen a different ending for this book. I also hope in the future she gives the queen a happy ever after. Her story breaks my heart.

    Minus one star for queen..

Wonderful story with great main characters. Once again its the queens (secondary character) that leaves a bad taste on the romance side. Her husband is a jerk and she deserves someone that can love her, not remain only until she dies. Bet she didn't even have sex outside her marriage, a marriage where her husband called another womans bame, when he was with her. Blah. Anyhow, overall a good book except the loneliness of the queen. She needs her own love story.

This is my favorite book, ever. And I have been reading harlequin for at least 30 years.
    Loved the story line.
I have read this three times already, and will probably ready it another ten times.

Ah Demyan. What an adorable corporate shark, romantic deceiver you are. To save the nation he must seduce and marry geeky scientist Chanel Tanner. And he does it so well. *fans self* I enjoyed this story, watching Demyan with his machinations and the way Chanel sees through so much of his surface persona to the real man beneath.
I loved how we get to see Chanel's impact on him as well as seeing her fall for him. There is no doubt that they are made for each other. The only concern is how his deception will impact on their relationship.
I think I enjoyed this one a little more than the first one of the duet. They were both easy reads and I loved the interactions between Chanel and Demyan and the romance scenes were well done with nice sizzle.

    Enjoyed

Really enjoyed this story. Would love for the queen to finally find love. (Guess the king would have to die) sounds like the beginning of a new book to me.
