This is a terrific heated romance
Before they married Brian Dennison was so nice to his fiancée Julie Driscoll that he swept her off her feet. During her wedding celebration Julie searches for her groom so they can cut the cake together. She hears some moaning from inside a broom closet opens the door to find her new her husband, naked accompanied by his nude assistant they obviously were doing hanky panky business. Leaving the cake uncut, Julie decides since her spouse looked elsewhere for his wedding sex so will she.---------- Julie selects the best man her brother-in-law Chris. He has fantasized about making love with her since he first met her five years ago. They share an incredible heat that surpasses his wildest dreams involving her. Afterward he returns to the tropical resort he is building Julie knows a good thing and follows him.---------- This is a terrific heated romance starring two likable protagonists and a rat of a groom (making love with someone else on your wedding night is despicable). Readers will appreciate this torrid tale as Chris and Julie prove their room is much hotter than the topics. Yet with all the erotic moments, Jamie Alden lightens her erotic tale with humor and some satire as ironically thanks to the cheater, Julie finds something sweeter (and saltier).------- Harriet Klausner

So romantic!
Love the story line. So innocent, but beautiful for her to fall in love with him. Their scenes were so full of passion and love...they made me jealous. She made the right choice going ahead an giving her heart to him. Will read it again!

Saucy!
This is a steamy erotic book BUT actually has a good plot to it. There is alot of steamy encounters but you get drawn into the main characters and you can't wait to see how it ends.

I liked this story I like Julie and how she stood up to her father, her ex Brian what a Dush bag he is disgusting. Chris was such a sweet guy liked him. The story was a good read for me. Julie's friend Wendy I'm wondering if there is a story for her.

A Fun Read
Great for a rainy day when you don't want to think too much. The characters are real, complete with their very human faults. Julie is a spoiled rich girl who finally gets a clue in the end that if she wants to be all grown up, she's got to do it herself. Chris has always been hot for Julie, but she was young and immature and he had a resort to get off the ground. With a virtually non-existent plot (she sleeps with her unfaithful new husband's brother to validate her sexiness and get back at her jerk of a spouse), it's still a fun read with lots of great sex scenes and snappy dialog. A keeper.

Truly a private party
Julie is a character in the "public eye" and as such has to uphold a certain facade and allow her family to rule her life. However, she is truly slapped in the face at her wedding reception when she finds her new husband in the broom closet with a tramp. She quickly realizes that what goes on in her life should really be up to her. She enjoys her honeymoon night in Chris' arms, (her new husband's brother) and a long time friend who has harbored a secret crush on her for years. However, Chris has a hot beach resort that he started all alone from the ground up and it requires all of his time. So, the morning after their hot night together he leaves town but also leaves her an invitation to visit the resort. Shortly after returning to his resort Julie shows up to enjoy a long awaited vacation and some hot sex with Chris. Chris is estatic to see her but refuses to show it and Julie is broken up about the apparent brush off. So she is forced to interact with other guests which include some hot men and this does not settle well with Chris.. I Truly enjoyed reading this.

LOVED IT!!!!
I am a eighteen year old girl, who does not like to read. Well at least I didn't think I did until I read this book. I found out about it in Cosmo magazine and just had to read it. I went to barnes & nobles and ordered it. I started reading it and couldn't set it down. I read it in a total of two weeks. I couldn't beleive how fast I read it. It was so good! The book made me feel like I was in it. I'd have to say I read the book and found myself envy Julie. I finished it and now want to read it again. I am hoping to read another book of Jamie Alden really soon.
