Must read for a Tori Carrington fan.
Caleb Payne gets what he wants, whenever he wants, and doesn't take no for an answer. Bryna Metaxas wants to help her family business and doesn't care about who she has to make a deal with to do it. The only way Bryna can see to help the business is to ask Caleb Payne, even if he associates with her family's arch-enemy, Philippidis. Bryna had to get the working capital to help the business expand or it would go under like many of the business in the area. What she hadn't counted on was the attraction she felt for Caleb. But she could not fall for her arch-enemy's associate, it just wouldn't work. Caleb Payne had no intention of helping Bryna Metaxas or her family. However if the hot looks she was giving him was any indications of the fun they could have together who was he to complain? The heat from the "Private Sessions" that Caleb gives Bryna makes the pages come alive. Private Sessions is the first in the Private Scandals series; this story is a continuation of Tori's story "The Body that Launch a Thousand Ships" which was in Blazing Bedtime Stories, Volume III. I really enjoyed visiting with the Metaxas family once more. You get to see what happens after the boys came home from Greece. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Team Carrington provides their fans with an entertaining boardroom romance
In Earnest, Washington, an employee at her family's firm Metaxas Limited, Bryna Metaxas proposes a partnership with business mogul Caleb Payne of Seattle. Whereas she is talking business only, he remains upset that a relative of hers wrecked a deal while also admiring her beauty. He decides to collect on the Metaxas debt by seducing Bryna. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
Bryna is attracted to Caleb, but though he enjoys sex with her, his attitude is placing her below his partners and his mom on his pecking order. When he is forced to analyze his desire for her, Caleb realizes what started as a payback has backfired as he has fallen in love. Now he must come up with the deal of the century or lose everything that matters.
Although the relationship between the lead couple never evolves outside of the bedroom (extremely loose definition of boudoir) and the boardroom, readers will enjoy this fun sizzling contemporary romance. Even with plenty of sex seemingly everywhere in the Pacific northwest, the story line will remind readers of the Doris Day-Rock Hudson fluffy comedies like Pillow Talk; with obviously a lot more blaze. Team Carrington provides their fans with an entertaining boardroom romance.
