Provides a solid foundation in advanced windows forms and should be on every serious programmers reading list. Topics are focused the reader is not required to wade through fluff to get the information. This is not a 'code snippet' book. It provides clear information to gain a level of understanding that is applicable immediately. It took me longer to read this book than normal. I found myself reading, re-reading and then immediately applying to my current projects. This was especially true of Part 2: Custom Controls in the book. I found myself seriously considering returning to scope and restarting my project. In summary, the author writes very well and each topic is covered with enough detail that even the most experienced programmer will gain from reading the book. Was this review helpful?
