Finally! A book for the masses. Those of you who get your nails done, THIS IS A MUST READ! If you are tired of being pushed through an assembly line at your favorite salon...this book is for you. If you have wondered whether what they are doing to your nails is the right thing to do, this book is for you. I have been a Nail Technician for 30+ years, an Instructor for 12 years, and have owned my own shop for 10 years and this book is almost IDENTICAL to what I used to teach my classes. Even if you don't want to do your own nails, at least arm yourself with the knowledge of how to do it properly. In my 30+ years I have NEVER used a drill on ANYONE'S NATURAL nails. My drill is ONLY used to shape the free-edge of the ARTIFICIAL nail, THAT'S IT! You will be doing yourself a favor buying this book, if not for you...give it as a gift to someone who does get their nails done. BELIEVE-IT-OR-NOT you could be SAVING THEIR LIFE! This is also an informative book giving the history of nail care and it could be used as a reference to changing your nail care regimen (do I go square, oval, or in-between like squoval?). Either way, this is a MUST HAVE for any complete library. "KNOWLEDGE IS POWER!!!"Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
