Good Book, Great Photos
I have read other articles by Jim Zuckerman, so I figured I would pick up this book. It is a very easy read and is loaded with beautiful photographs. The book is more so aimed at beginner photographers, and for that purpose it could be a 4-star book. I only gave it 3 stars because I didn't learn a lot of new things from it, although I did learn a fresh new way of thinking while I'm out shooting (learning to see the world how your LENSES see the world, and using that to determine how you shoot a scene). Was this review helpful? The only thing I didn't like about the book is that he too easily (and too often) mentions using Photoshop to just change something about a photograph (replacing skies, replacing backgrounds, etc.). BUT, that is a matter of personal opinion and preference.
So, if you are a beginning photographer looking for tips on what to look for while out in the field, then this is a real good book for you.
