Good book for the general idea of programming interviews
This book is a good primer for programming interviews. It covers a lot of general ground and some specifics. It did help me prepare for an interview shortly after reading it, though the "trick questions" of any given programming interview are likely not going to be covered here. Probably good to review some computer science trick problems (towers of hanoi, fibonacci sequences, etc.) before the review as well. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Overall, this book does give a pretty good picture of what to expect. I have interviewed and been interviewed, and this book is a good primer.

Great book for doing a dry run for your programming interview!
These guys do a great job getting you to go through the exercise of answering a programming interview question. Some of the material is stuff I learned a while back and they help to bring it forward, while other topics are great "between the cracks" topics that are ripe for interview questions. You'll feel more confident when you have to pick up that white board marker on interview day.Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
