The best book on the market for PIC
I am a current student in computer engineering. I just completed a course in Microcontrollers that¿s focus was the PIC chip. I wish that I would have found this book before I started the course. I have gone through the book, and done some of the project. I have found that my knowledge of the PIC chip has greatly increased, as well as my general understanding of computer engineering. This book is written in a straight forward and easy to comprehend fashion. The book would be a great starting place for a beginner or a way to improve the existing skills of an advanced user. One of the main problems with finding a book for the PIC chip is that a good book just does not exist, (Until Now!!!!!). My complements to the Author. I look forward to the next edition. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.

One of the Best Electronics Books Ever!
If you are looking to use the Microchip PIC in your projects/products: here is the book to use for learning about the chips as well as designing the application. All four PIC families are included and the CD-ROM has a ton of datasheets and tools (also all the source code for the applications). What really blew me away was the inclusion of a PCB that cna be used to build a PIC parallel port programmer. I've never seen any book that is this complete. Was this review helpful?
