GOOD STORY-BUT COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER
ENJOYED READING THIS BOOK, BUT IT DRAGGED ON A LITTLE TOO LONG. SEEMED SORT OF OLD-FASHIONED IN SOME OF THE WORDING.

Belva Pkain - Promises (not kept)
Belva Plain's book "Promises" was a disappointment to me. I've always liked this author but this one was a waste of money. The story revolves around a man who loves two women and a man. One he'd promised to marry and one he claims to love. Woman #1 he marries and woman #2 seeks him out and seduces him and wants him to leave his wife and kids. The wife has a high moral code (which more of us should have)and the other woman has few, if any. While the book does keep your interest, the subject matter is not unlike a Harlequin writer would choose. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
