A sci-fi story of a planet needing women because of the nature of their men's mating ritual after a war of secession from Earth, and the woman doctor who volunteers with a friend to ship off a corrupt Earth. Exactly what has happened to Earth must be explained in one of the earlier stories of this series, because there are large gaps of explanation in this story. Although, I do agree with a previous reviewer's opinion on the repetition of narrative on the doctor's story - got you to wondering on the maturity level and/or the intelligence of her opinions without all the facts; also skimmed quite a few whiny pages. The premise of the story is basically good, just that the author gets stuck in a thought process. Angst, lots of drama, romance, some adult language, and sex scenes.
If the Gaians landed on this planet, they need to bring several large ships to hold all the volunteer women. Time to find the exercise mat and get in shape - yoga any one???
This story can also be found in the free boxed triology set Rogues in Time. Happy reading.

Just an ok read. The lead female character inner turmoil seemed to drag on and on. I ended up skimming some paragraphs. There were a few that were pretty much just a repeat of what was already written a few pages back. I liked the book idea and I have read a lot worse but I think this series will go in my "I got nothing else to read pile".
