Barnes and Noble, you have to come up with a system that lets the reviewers give negative stars. This book is a con. The author is neither a psychic nor a medium, but a con artist, and proud of it. I'm a psychic medium, I connect the bereaved and the truly grieving to those they have lost. I don't use body language, ask leading questions to get information from those I an reading, or use tricks. Using the terms Psychic and Medium in the title of this book is misleading and corrupt. Anyone knowledgeable in the REAL field would be warned away from this book by seeing that James Randi wrote the forward. Randi makes a lucrative living pretending that there are no psychic/mediumship abilities, that it his con game. Shame on everyone involved in misleading the uninformed with the title of this book. It should be titled "I Pretended to Read Your Mind, and Here is How I Did It." That would be the truth, and for once from this author, NOT a big trick. Not recommended for anyone except those trying to become 5cent magicians at little kids' parties. And there are MUCH better books for that audience too. You cannot call your self a medium if you are not, and this guy is NOT. Shame on him!!!!
