    Oaktails life part 4!

A light brown tom ran across fields and through gullies of trees. He stopped when he reached a small incline. He looked up and saw the mountains strech into the clouds. He was just about to go when something hit his side. All the air was knocked out of him. He felt someone clawing at his fur. He turned over and pushed with his hind legs. The cat went flying. He got up and ran over to it. When he looked down from where he was standing over the cat all he saw were green eyes. "Please dont hurt me!" He looked at the cat he was on top of it was a tan she cat... He jumped off. The shecat scrambled to her feet glaring at him. "You made me mess up my last assesment!" She growled. He bewildered. She was just an apprentice? He thought "I... Im sorry..." he stamered. Just then a long legged shecat padded out into the open. She smiled at the apprentice. "Your fine Rabbitpaw." She laughed "You tried but was over powered." She looked at Oaktail and smiled. "But Harespeed! That means I cant be a Warrior!" She complained. The warrior smiled. "Its also my choice Rabbitpaw. And I think your ready!" She purred. "Now go back to camp and get cleaned up... Your a warrior tonight!" Rabbitpaw nodded happily and bounded off. Harespeed turned to Oaktail. "Can I help you?" She asked confusion in her eyes. Oaktail looked at the ground embaressed. "I was just passing through... I wasnt going to stay..." he meowed. She smiled "Why dont you come with me back to my camp? I bet Seedstar will let you stay the night?" She purred. Oaktail nodded. They both padded back to her camp... (part five is at storm result 8)

Highly Recommended for those who enjoy this genre!

Sophie Oak is on my must read author list. I have never been disappointed and am pleased to say, this meets her usual level of entertaining reading. There is just enough detail to hold your interest and continue the saga of Bliss in her usual picturesque manner. You do not need to read in order, but it is more fun to follow the Bliss families from the first story forward.

    A little disappoimted...

I have read all the books in this series and was looking forward to this one...however I was a little disappointed. The story felt rushed particularly at the end.
