For what this album intends, it is terrific. I wanted to find an album with a light mix of traditional and modern - but not dance, club or top 40 type of - music, and this compilation was great. If you're getting ready for a trip to Paris or another region of France, this music will put you in the mood. The only thing missing is Edith Pilaf, whom Americans have just become passionate about due to the release of La Vie en Rose last year.
