    Great Book!

I thought that this book was very good. In fact, the author, Polly Brooks, explains the story as if she were there while Queen Eleanor where still reigning over France...And England....And Aquitaine....And Poiters... Anyway, I thought that this was a very good book. I would recommend it to anyone 10 or above. I think the dialect of this book is very well written, and the action scenes as well! I think that everyone should read this who enjoy a book about Action, Adventure, Romance, and Drama.

    fascinating heroine

This book is as engrossing as any fiction. My 8 year old daughter and I both enjoyed it. Eleanor is a delightful role model who learns and gets better with age. In addition to being an entertaining story, it's a good introduction to the history of Europe in the middle ages.

    Simply Amazing

This book first fascinated me in Eleanor. It shows how enchanting she was, as a person and Queen. The most beautiful and intelligent of her time she dealt with everyone. From the Pope to Robin Hood , to street beggars. A true look at the character of a majestic Lady.

    This was incredibly boring

THis book provided the reader with an incredible amount of information. Too bad it was so monotonsly boring that the reader couldnt' retain anything he/she read!!! I think this book was a waste of good ink and paper when something better could have easily be put in it's place!
