As clear as mud
For the most part, this biography on one of the most influential yet under recognized bands is a good read. At times it is confusing and somewhat unclear, but when there are so many versions of the same story, all from people that were there, it is hard for an author. There are some basic research flaws-at one point she mentions The Runaways performing with Metallica in 1978, and they didn't become a band until 1981. It also jumps around a little in time, which can make seem laborious. All in all, though, despite the problems the book helps to shed light on the highs and lows of being in a band and the trials it brings. I would reccomend this book to any fan of the band and rock music in general.
