    I Also Recommend:

    More Cookbook Than Novel!

I was very disappointed with this book. Very little story in comparison to the number of recipes. Many recipes did not relate to the story line or story lines from previous books. The recipes that were supposed to be "old family favorites" had modern ingredients, i.e. Kosher salt, panko bread crumbs, and instructions.

    Disappointed

I have read a number of books by Jennifer. The Quilters Kitchen was a big disappointment. The book lacked the spice that I have come to expect from her novels.

Very disappointing...don't purchase if you expect a story

I think the publisher has a lot of nerve charging the same amount of money for this as for the other Jennifer Chiaverini novels. I expected there to be some recipes, but this book is 10-15 pages of recipe for every five pages of story, and the story is thin, thin, thin.

Shame on you, Simon and Schuster! If I could return this, I would.

    The Quilter's Kitchen

Definately not worth the money. I was VERY disappointed with the book. No real plot, much too many interruptions with way too complex recipes - I will not recommendit to anyone.
