Well done

I enjoyed this book. The author used a very creative approach that brought true stories from people all over together with an interesting quilting theme. Some stories were funny, some brought warm memories of loved ones, some took me totally by surprise. Lori Wagner wove her own story in the book, ending with the story of her husband passing and how that even in such a difficult situation, God gave her hope and peace. That really encouraged me.

This book is spiritually uplifting without being preachy, and I thought it was nice how the author used people of all different Christian denominations sharing their experiences and how God touched their lives through situations and people. I would definitely recommend this as a gift for anyone who needs some encouragement.

    I cried. I laughed. I believed. I hoped.

I really liked this book. The first chapter made me laugh, but others touched me deeply. Lori Wagner did an excellent job pulling together these stories, connecting them to the quilting theme, and bringing spiritual application that really impacted my life. This is a very encouraging book I would recommend for anyone, guy or gal, and also makes a great gift or devotional.

    Wow! What an encouraging book!

This book really helped me to think about life from a different perspective--that God really is involved in my everyday life and there is a purpose in everything I go through. I loved all the true stories, and how every one had a lesson in it. The quilting info was very interesting too, but mostly I was encouraged and inspired spiritually. From chapter to chapter, I didn't know if I would be laughing or crying at the end, but I knew I would learn something that would help me. It was a great read.

Encouraging, funny, inspiring, truly a sensational read. What more could you ask for in a book? All this and more as you sit and experience personal testimonies and stories of lifes triumphets, sad times and good times. Wonderful. All applause to Lori Wagner!!!
