Dayna's first book is a fantastic introduction to Radical Unschooling. If you've never heard of Radical Unschooling, it will challenge everything you THINK you know about parenting and human nature. Dayna's gentle style of communication with her family and with readers is easy to digest. Her simple approach to relationships is refreshing, loving and timeless.

Great Book on Unschooling

I like the fact that this book clears up any myths on unschooling. It's a lifestyle approach to life. It's about being together as a whole family and taking life as it comes.Great read for unschoolers and schoolers alike. I also, like the fact that the author Dayna Martin and her family are non-judgemental about people with different lifestyles that are different from there own.

Disappointing

I wish the book was better-written. If it weren't a subject I cared passionately about, I wouldn't be bothered by its lack of substance and the poor writing. Being, however, that it's a topic about a way of "educating" our children, the fact that it "hurts" to read---it is so poorly written--is a sad testament. It hurts the cause, plain and simple. I am really sorry to have to give this review, but to not post this would feel wrong.....
