Another incredibly HOT erotic story of a wounded/broken hero, Kristen rocks our world again with this magnificent tale.

First let me say, I’m thrilled this book came out early...ok it played havoc with my reading schedule but of course I dropped everything to fit it in and it was so worth it. I discovered it was out around 7 pm and needless to say it was a minimal sleep night :D. Yes, I read it straight through, riveted to every word.

Now for the story, Hanna was absolutely adorable with a developing inner strength that blossomed throughout the entire book.

Raiden U. Miller is a war hero, dealing with survivors guilt and the actions he took during the war. Finding that he fits best in a world that sits in the grey zone of morality. Hanna is the beacon of light that can’t be denied in is grey world.

The sexual chemistry is combustible and Raid likes to play...and they played often.

Wonderfully quirky heroin, a hero in need of rescue, a basket loving cat, wise woman grandma with hearing like a Sheppard and even cameos from characters we love from the past Ashley books Raid had it all. 4.5 Stars and an absolute must read!

Blah story line and characters

I cringed at how bad the dialog was by Raid; felt a little too white trash to me...even if it was to make him seem "tough." The story line was just okay... I kept waiting for an actual plot twist to make things exciting, and it never really came. Not sure if I will atte...

I kept waiting for an actual plot twist to make things exciting, and it never really came. Not sure if I will attempt another book by this author.

"This place is way too slow for my taste. I'll be at 'Pon' if i'm ever needed, which is probably not going to happen." She nods and walks out.

    Good Read

I liked the way she took the innocent good girl, had her spice up her life a bit and finally get noticed. The story line was good, but I felt the male character could have been developed a little better. Being that he was the town hero, his vocabulary was a bit limited. But I still a good story and interested me enough to read other books from her.

    Kristen Ashley is awesome

After reading Knight, I knew I had to continue with Creed and Raid. I was not disappointed.

Kristen Ashley is a cure-all for me. After reading a book that sends me into a depression (because that book is bad), KA is like a Valium I popped and life is all better. The men that she brings to life are undeniably sexy. I don’t know how she does it but she sure does it.

I loved that Hanna sits in a coffee shop, waiting for Raid to walk in every day so that he can hopefully notice her. And when reality smacks her in the face and makes her wake up, she starts living a adventurous life which helps Raid start noticing her (unbeknownst to Hanna.) When that moment happens and Raid sets his mind on her, they become so cute that you just want to punch them in the face because you can’t handle the cuteness. Like always, there is some shadiness lurking around and Raid is there to find them, capture them, and make them pay. *girly giggle.*

What really surprised me was that Raid is a little different than most KA alpha male heroes. When he loses control, he loses control and I was surprised to see that loss of control turned on Hanna. However, he pulled all the strings to make up for his outburst.

Like all KA characters, Raid and Hanna complimented each other well and it was such a pleasure to read their story.
