A great place to start.
Shira Richman gave us a great short book which outlines many of the strategies used in helping autistic children. She starts off by addressing the question of what is autism then writes about all the different remedies. She addresses how behavioral intervention can be used to teach autistic children and correct behaviors. Towards the end the book the author addresses issues surrounding siblings, family and the community. The book remains in a condensed text book fashion until the last chapter. In the last chapter she writes about her own son who is autistic. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
