After having several paperback dictionaries, we decided to purchase a hardcover, to last. I am very disappointed in this particular one because it hasn't any references to languages, which I need nearly every day. I would not recommend it to anyone! Was this review helpful? Not the best tool for a a so-so puzzler
While it's nice to have word entries broken out by the number of letters, I find my trusty crossword dictionary compiled by Edy Garcia Schaffer (Putnam 1995) is still the reference I turn to when I get stuck. The Schafer book includes many more entries under each word and includes related phrases. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
